ⅰVamos a Barranquilla!

We received our official invitation (the referral) to adopt Tito yesterday! 

Word on the street (aka Colombia Adoptions Facebook Group) is that we will be travelling to Colombia about two months from now.  That begin said, we have no set dates yet.  We will all four go, and we are looking forward to spending up to a month there, partly in Barranquilla and partly in Bogota.

A Beach from Barranquilla

Barranquilla, along with Santa Maria and Cartagena, have been described to me as one of the "pearls" of Colombia.  It is on the Caribbean coast where the people love music and dancing, seafood and coconut rice.  No doubt Tito has found a way to dance despite his limited legs.

According to one face-booker, "Caribbean people are happy people."  From the video we have seen of our little Tito, he does seem to fit that stereotype.
