Home Study Complete!

Our home study if FINALLY done, and it is looking very good for us to travel to Poland sometime in December or January! 

To help everyone better understand our process, I created a timeline, which includes our expenses. I colored in the steps we have already taken. As you will note, we just paid our last fee to Children’s House International, thanks to YOUR generosity. 

Our next expense is the fee that will accompany our immigration application. The visa approval can take up to 90 days, so we want to start that process as soon as possible. I am ready to submit the application as soon as the money is available. We have $581 left in our adoption account, and the fee is $1060. If anyone is thinking of donating, we need $469 as soon as possible. (We still do not have a tax deductible donation option, but be watching for it. Now that the home study is finished, Gracehaven Ministries will be able to provide tax deductions soon.)

The home study is not the only thing we have received. We also got VIDEO FOOTAGE of “our” sweet little children! I will attach a 2 minute video to an email for you to see, but I can't put it on facebook or our blog. If you don't get our email versions of this post, please ask to be included in our email list. See Aneta and Kamil drink a glass of juice. See them eat a nice bowl of borsch. See how they hold their glass with both hands. See how they use two hands to carefully pull their soup bowl close to their body while eating, and then push it away when finished.

You gotta love Aneta wiping her little face with a napkin so politely. And you will be impressed by Kamil with cruising around with his walker, and then lifting himself into a chair to sit down. Aside from how polite they appear to be, we are absolutely smitten by their smiles. You will be too.
